Tips to Lose Weight

      Unfortunately, no magic pill or diet is the answer.  Instead good old fashioned hard work is what is needed.  Not what you wanted to hear?  Focusing on moving more, eating less, and lifting weights are the keys to healthy weight loss.  Remember that at Mindful Makeover for Moms we are focused on healthy habits that can be maintained for a lifetime.  

Move More   

      Increase your activity by moving more throughout the day and adding cardio workouts to your week for 30-60 minutes 3-6 times per week.

Eat Less 

     Track how much you are eating using a food journal and cut back your calories by 300-500 calories per day.

Lift Weights

     Pump some iron 2-3 times per week to increase your muscle mass and relieve stress.
