Mindful Mom Summer Moments
Ahh lazy summer days, relaxing by the pool, catching up on a few good books, visiting with friends-that sounds great! Now back to reality, chasing my daughter, running to the grocery store, working, getting ready for guests and traveling. I don’t know about you, but sometimes the change of routine in the summer can be overwhelming and not as relaxing as I might anticipate.
Sometimes I need a trick to help get me back to the present moment and collect myself. Deep breathing can be just the trick to calm my mind and bring my focus back to the present. Listen here for a deep breathing exercise to remind us of this calming activty that can be done anywhere. It can also be a great took to teach your kids.
